An additional 12 new cases of COVID in Da Nang

According to the Ministry of Health, until 6am of 1/8, Vietnam continues to have 12 more cases of Covid-19. Currently, the number of new cases related to Da Nang from July 25 to now is 116 cases.

PATIENT 551 (BN551): Female patient, 35 years old, Close contact BN461
PATIENT 552 (BN552): Male patient, 78 years old, patient’s family member at Department of Surgery Burn, Danang Hospital
DISEASE 553 (BN553): Male patient, 25 years old, Patient, Department of Tropical Medicine and Department of Internal Medicine and Neurology, Danang Hospital
PATIENT 554 (BN554): Male patient, 37 years old, Close contact BN416
PATIENT 555 (BN555): Male patient, 33 years old, Patient of Surgery-Neurology Department, Danang Hospital
PATIENT 556 (BN556): Male patient, 29 years old, Hoa Phuoc – Hoa Vang – Da Nang
PATIENT 557 (BN557): A 2 year old male patient with close contact with BN509
DISEASE 558 (BN558): A 72-year-old female patient, Patient of Internal Medicine – Neurology and Ophthalmology Department, Da Nang Hospital.

As of 6 a.m. on August 1: Vietnam, there were a total of 558 cases of COVID-19, of which 302 imported cases were immediately isolated.

– Number of new cases related to Da Nang from July 25 to now: 116 cases.

Total number of people in close contact and entry from the epidemic area are under health monitoring (quarantine): 91,462, of which:
– Concentrated isolation at the hospital: 953
– Concentrated isolation at another establishment: 18,063
– Isolation at home, accommodation: 72,446
