An additional 9 cases were positive for COVID-19 in Da Nang and Hanoi

The National Steering Committee for COVID-19’s epidemic control, at 6 a.m. on July 30, reported nine additional COVID-19 positive cases in Danang and Hanoi. Up to this point, Vietnam has 459 cases.

36 years old female patient who is a nurse at Danang Hospital. On 27/7/2020 patients were sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • PATIENT 452 (BN452)

A 52-year-old male patient is a patient being treated at Danang Hospital. On 27/7/2020 patients were sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • DISEASE 453 (BN453)

56-year-old female patient is a patient being treated at Danang Hospital. On 27/7/2020 patients were sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • DISEASE 454 (BN454)

A 65-year-old female patient is a family member to take care of the patient at Danang Hospital. On 27/7/2020 patients were sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • DISEASE 455 (BN455)

A 32-year-old female patient is a patient being treated at Danang Hospital. On 27/7/2020 patients were sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • PATIENT 456 (BN456)

57-year-old female patient in Hai Phong street, Hai Chau district, Da Nang. On July 28, 2020, the patient was sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • DISEASE 457 (BN457)

Male patient, 70 years old, in Hung Vuong, Hai Chau District, Da Nang. On July 28, 2020, the patient was sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • PATIENT 458 (BN458)

38-year-old female patient in Hoa Son, Hoa Vang, Da Nang. On July 28, 2020, the patient was sampled, the results on July 29, 2020 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

  • DISEASE 459 (BN459)

Male patient, 76 years old, in Hoang Hoa Tham, Tay Ho, Hanoi. The patient went to Da Nang for about 3 weeks now.

On July 21, 2020, the patient came to Da Nang C Hospital for examination and testing due to tachycardia.

On July 25, 2020, the patient went to Hanoi. On July 29, 2020, the patient was sampled by the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology for active surveillance of people involved in at-risk areas in Da Nang and had positive results for SARS-CoV-2 virus. .

Total cases: 459 cases

– As of 6 a.m. on July 30: Vietnam had a total of 459 cases of COVID-19, of which 276 were immediately isolated.

– Number of new cases in the community from July 25 to now: 43 cases.

– From 6pm on July 29 to 6 o’clock on July 30: 9 new cases.

Number of quarantined people: Total number of people in close contact and entering from the epidemic area under medical monitoring (quarantine): 81,546, of which:

– Concentrated isolation at the hospital: 472

– Concentrated isolation at other establishments: 14,213

– Isolation at home, accommodation: 66,861

Treatment situation: As reported by the Treatment Sub-Committee of the National Steering Committee for Disease Control and Prevention: COVID-19:

– Number of first negative cases with SARS-CoV-2: 9 cases.

– Number of 2nd negative cases or more for SARS-CoV-2: 3 cases.
